Will tke high school graduates who visit Ocean city during the month of June patronize your business or benefit your business? Do you look forward to tke dollars they bring with them to spend on sodas, food, t-shirts, games, souvenirs, clothing, sun lotions, etc.? If you will benefit or if you are just concerned about our youth, you can help with this invaluable program.

The message of Play It Safe to High School Graduates is to have responsible fun without the use of alcohol and other drugs. The Play It Safe project prints and distributes 65,000 Play It Safe booklets throughout the sate of Maryland and in some areas of neighboring states to high school seniors before graduation. The project also distributes hundreds of posters and booklets to local businesses. Special imprinted Play It Safe t-shirts and many other prizes are awarded to the graduates who attend the free, fun filled events in Ocean City throughout the month of June.

The challenge of providing these activities is great considering the majority of the funding comes from private businesses and citizens. You can assist with this worthwhile project, which celebrates its Eleventh Anniversary this year by making a monetary donation, giving prizes for the competitions, donating food, beverages or snacks or by providing a coupon for the Play It Safe booklet. Corporate sponsors for particular events would be welcomed.

These activities are staffed primarily by volunteers. For more information or to make a contribution, please contact:
