It is the goal of the Play It Safe project to have these free events for high school graduates well supervised and staffed. These events require a large number of volunteers. This is where you can help! No experience required, just an interest in helping youth. The activities include:

  • beach volleyball competitions
  • moonlight bowling events
  • kayak races and windsurfing
  • dances on the beach
  • lazer tag games and paintball
  • water slide fun
  • "3 on 3" basketball competitions
  • other activities
Help is needed for registration, serving food, officiating, spotting, hospitality and general help. There will be a volunteer orientation for those interested in chaperoning at events. Attendance at this meeting will be helpful to volunteers but is not required. Other orientation arrangements can be made to assist you as a Play It Safe volunteer.
